Withdrawal process is slow. I had large withdrawals in process and I had to verify my identity but thats no problem but it took s long time so of course I fell in my own whole and reversed the withdrawal and lost it all. If only there was faster payout I wouldnt atleast reversed it and had a chance to spend some of it once in my bank account. I am a VIP longstanding player on their casino site - they offer a VIP birthday gift yet when I asked for it they became rude and said I could not have it. It is clearly stated in their website with no T&Cs attached? As a result I asked for a Subject Access Report (SAR) (as you are allowed to do as per Information Commission rules) for my account detailing the emails and internal communication about my account. They have sent me an excel spreadsheet just listing my deposits and withdrawals and refuse to send the emails. I have challenged this and so am complaining to the Gibraltar Information Commissioner to see what they say about it. I have also read they are being investigated by the UK gambling commission on their exclusion policies which is why their share price has gone down this week. I wouldn’t recommend this casino to serious players. They never have issues with depositing large amounts or reversing your cash out request(no surprise). When you actually win something they will hold your winnings and not process them within the time frame stated in their policy without giving a reason or letting you know how long it could take. Well, where do I start? The aforementioned bonuses are really wonky, when it comes to the freeplays you can usually expect quite a long delay before you actually receive them. When I deposit to get a bonus, I expect to get that bonus immediately, or at least know beforehand when said bonus will be applied to my account. 888 does neither of those things. Why not just contact customer support, is something you may ask, however this in itself is also a ridiculously difficult task. Their online support is rarely ever open, even within their own hours of operation. Chat is presently unavailable is something youll have to get used to seeing. In addition, their customer support is some of the worst Ive ever encountered. I contacted them recently with one simple question, whether I had taken their welcome offer, and if this would make me not able to claim welcome offers on their sister sites. It took close to a week to resolve this simple question, starting out with a 30-minute live chat session, followed by about 8 or so emails. Let me break it down for you: First off, the chat rep lies to me and claims that I made a deposit of £20 (I play in euros! What the hell!) in March, which is a blatant lie. I ask the rep to check again for me, and they say that they would email me my transaction history. For some reason, this could not be done instantly, so the support rep asked me to close the chat and wait for the email. Fair enough. I stare at my email for about 10-20 minutes, and there it is, an email from 888... with no attachment. I figured they would perhaps realize their mistake, or maybe they would send these transaction history emails in two parts, but that was not the case. 8 hours and no additional mails later, I email them back, telling them that there was no attachment. The next day, they apologize for the mistake, and send me my transaction history. Only problem being that it is not complete, it only shows my most recent deposit. I call them out on this, and the next day, again, they send me my transaction history. This time, its accurate, showing me 2 deposits that Ive made at the casino. The only one missing being the one they claim I did back in March, meaning that they straight-up lied to me about this fact. If you do wish to play here, pray that everything works out for you and that you never ever have to contact a support rep. Additionally, they have a very odd selection of games. They do have stuff from famous slot manufacturers like NetEnt and WMS, but only a select few games. Why cant they have their whole library? The website has huge functionality issues: pages not loading properly, like the deposit page. If you cant even take the money, what is the point of you anymore? Whooo 888.casino really dont like dealing with players very much. Had a problem logging into the site, needed immediate help no option for live chat or telephone support. The poker section is merely a joke, all because of the really old, buggy and laggy software that makes you believe youre back to windows 95. Poker Blast is what we call an almost forever near hit. Lets say the screen rolls and stops to 10000$ prize pool. You get happy but that ends quick because the spin will tilt again after stopping, taking you back to a 2$ prize pool. They have the only bonus system ever seen that actually does not give you a bonus. It says 100% welcome bonus. Lets say you deposit the minimum, a 10$. You would expect another 10$ in your account, thats what bonuses are for, so you can increase your bank and start rollin to fulfill the requirements and win. Nope. 888 wants you to spend exactly 1000$ before you can get your 10$ bonus, after which you will have to roll another 1000$ in order to cash out. Ripoff is a small word for these guys. Went to the casino after winning some freeplays on their wheel of fortune. If you have a 2$ freespin and you hit a big win, you can keep 2$. But you will have to fulfill the requirements if you want those 2$ to be yours. Lets say you hit a 10 cent spin and win 2$ in that hand. Well, the game crashes. You have to reload the page after every spin to spend all those 2$. Ive read other reviews and saw that their attitude on this website is absolute crop and they never, ever answer a question in a professional way, they always avoid it. Their customer service is very rude and actually quite unhelpful, they dont seem to actually have any knowledge and cant effectively answer questions. If youre not satisfied with your reply they become rude and end the conversation. Furthermore withdrawals take a really long time. At minimum 3 days when withdrawals from other sites take max 24 hours. I have been with 888,for around 3 years and havent often withdrawn because of this. The other day I won £1615 so I wasnt gonna let that go, I could really use the money. I withdrew on 4/4/17 and on 6/4/17 when I asked what was taken so long I was told it had been processed and I would receive the money on 7/4/17. However in my account transactions they were listed as in process . I then received an email on 7/4/17 apologizing that there was a delay, with no reason as to why there was a delay. And that I would receive the money on 10/4/17. Nearly a week later!! It is not that day and no money, transaction is still listed as in process, and their customer service still cant tell me why there was a delay, when I will get my money and to just be patient. Theres no excuse for such a delay. It wasnt an absurdly huge win and Ive never experienced anything like this with any other sites, even for withdrawals of a similar amount. A week is an absurd long to wait, I dont appreciate the different information. (I will refrain from saying lies) I have been told, also the lack of information, and the rude responses to my questioning. After some rather long emails exchanges with the 888 Casino management i came to the conclusion this Casino isnt fair to new online casino players and trys to milk them with abusive bonus points behaviour on new promotions(i do not mean the usual welcome bonus) They got that seasional luck to be promotion where you get refund of 30% Bonus Points of your losses and they advertised Multihand BlackJack with that. Since i only play table games i took the offer and did deposit with the code. So i played some multihand Black Jack lost some and got some back, later i deposited more money without bonus to just play single hand black jack made a rather big win from some 50€ to 300€+but could not withdraw. The reasion was both the bonus points involved with the wagering and their 20% low playthrough by using table games like black jack. Thats really low on Black Jack games and missleading players especially if you do make a promotion advertised with multihand black jack and a bonus systems that refunds 30% of your losses.....extremely hard do calculate the wager here, before hard its rather impossible to be honest. This Casino does exactly know what they do and they do all in their power that you cannot ever withdraw your legal winnings. Even if you dont use a Bonus, my first cautious win of 40€ was not transferred in like 5 work days. As others have mentioned I have had horrible experiences with their support team and question the legitimacy of their extremely aggressive safety measures. Over my 5 years playing on the site and paying well over 5k in rake I have had to verify my ID on 2 separate occasions. And today they locked my account to verify the source of funds while I was mid game in 2 MTTs after depositing only 1k two days prior. I sent them what they asked for within 4 minutes but did not get a response and had to watch as my 100 dollars in equity got blinded away. Extremely poor customer service and responses to complaints. All emailed replies from the company are generalized and keep repeating themselves rather than answering questions asked within the emails. The company also claims to promote fair and responsible gaming to avoid impulsive and uncontrolled gaming however this is not the case. As proved by my gaming activity that was sent to me. After contact with the UK Gamblers commission they agree with my claims but cannot recoup any losses instead they have asked me for the information and explained that when investigated they may fine the company but I will not be told of the response as to whether they did or not. Every time I log in, the bank immediately asks me if I wish to cancel my payout, and while I can control myself, this policy seems a bit too aggressive and I actually clicked the cancel button by mistake the first time. Absolute nightmare if you ever actually win any money and want to withdraw it.
